There is something else I am working on – making time for myself, and my business. I haven’t been doing a very good job of that lately. Or at least, not as much as I would like. I have been working on the business, but for someone who wants to try to do something scary every day, I’ve skipped a number of days in there. What can I say? I think it is just one of those things that happen, in our busy lives it is all too easy to lose focus.
I take care of myself – I work out at least once a day, sometimes twice. I have a few clients, my “Team Feedback” that I see regularly. Of course I work a full time job and I have a boyfriend and two dogs. Life is busy. And it is easy to let that take over. But there is a lot I want to for GRLife. I am nearing the end of my nutrition certification class, I want to wrap that up. I want to write more blog posts, build some materials for my clients, read more on genetics and nutition – more, more, more! But there is only so much time in the day.
Sure, sometimes after a long hard day, all I want to do is sit on the couch and pet my dogs, but I am realizing that its become too easy to let that be my reality. I need to plan time every day, or at least most days, to work on my business and my projects. Even just an hour a day will help me get to my goals. Whether it is taking a lunch hour to write a blog post or getting up early so I can crank out another chapter of my sport and nutrition class, I need to make finding that time a priority in my life. So, that’s my goal for the next few months. Making time, every day (or close to it) to go after those goals.
